Qualified for: Complete refund minus any processing expenses
Processing Duration: 5-7 working days
Processing Charge: €50 for payments made via credit card

Between 24 and 72 Hours Before Charter
Qualified for: Half of the total charter cost
Processing Duration: 7-10 working days
Processing Charge: €25 subtracted from the refund amount
Requirements: A legitimate explanation is required; administrative costs are applicable
Less than 24 Hours Prior to Charter
Qualified for: Refunds not available
Exemption: Consideration may be given to emergencies
Alternative: Charter credit might be offered based on management's discretion
Requirements: Proof needed for emergency cases
Cancellations Due to Weather Conditions
Our Commitment in Unfavorable Weather
Your safety is our utmost concern. If sailing conditions are deemed hazardous by our certified captain, we offer several flexible options:
- Fully Reimbursed: A total refund if rescheduling is not feasible
- Rescheduling: Transfer your charter to an upcoming available slot at zero extra charge
- Charter Credit: Take a credit valid for a year from the date of the original booking
Procedure for Assessing Weather Impacts
We consider several factors in our weather examination:
- Inspection of wind forces and directional shifts
- Surf analysis and oceanic conditions check
- Projections for visibility and likelihood of precipitation
- Notifications and cautions from the Coast Guard
- Overall safety review by a professional captain
Decision Deadline: Determinations regarding weather-related cancellations are made at most 4 hours ahead of the set sail time.
Medical Emergency Refunds
Exceptional Circumstances
We comprehend that unforeseen medical matters can arise. The situations below may warrant special refund considerations:
- Sudden illness or injury that necessitates hospital care
- Loss of an immediate family member
- Compulsory military engagement or urgent recall
- Requisite jury service or legal summoning
- Perturbations to travel plans owing to natural disasters
Necessary Evidence
To facilitate emergency refund demands, you will need:
- Certification from a medical establishment or proof of hospitalization
- Death Certificate for applicable situations
- Formal military dispatches
- Notices from courts or mandates for jury service
- Official advisories or declarations of emergencies
Procedure: Emergency reimbursement requests are tackled within 3-5 business days when all relevant proof is provided.
Cancellations Owing to Operational Issues
Technical Disruptions
In the event your designated yacht is non-operational due to technical issues:
- Alternate Option: We'll make efforts to arrange a yacht of similar standing
- Wholly Reimbursed: Should an equivalent yacht be unavailable
- Proportional Reimbursement: If the substitute yacht has a different price point
- Concession: Potential added compensation for the inconvenience caused
Unavailability of Crew
On rare occasions where there's an absence of certified crew:
- An attempt will be made to organize a replacement crew if achievable
- Total refund if the charter cannot be executed
- Option to reschedule without extra fees

Refunds are issued directly back to the original form of payment used for the reservation:
- Credit Cards: A time period of 5-7 business days
- Direct Bank Transfers: A range of 7-10 business days
- Cash/Payment by Check: Completed within 3-5 business days
Charges for Processing
For Credit Card Transactions
€50 charge for cancellations happening over 72 hours before the charter
For Bank Transfer Returns
€25 levy for all reimbursements through bank transfers
For International Transactions
Other charges may be included for cross-border exchanges
Issuing Charter Credits
Instances When Credits May Be Granted
Charter credits could be introduced instead of refunds under certain scenarios:
- For premature cancellations (under 24 hours notice)
- For charters annulled due to weather complications
- Voluntary requests to defer booking
- Interference in operations
Conditions of the Credit
- Period of Validity: Effective for a year from the issue date
- Non-transferable: Credits cannot be passed to others
- Full Amount: Represents the entire value of the charter without deductions
- Utilization: Applicable to any future charter availability
- Limit of Validity: Extensions beyond one year are not permitted
Compensation for Partial Services
Challenges During the Charter
If your yacht hire experience is curtailed or disrupted by factors within our purview:
- A refund calculated on the unbilled charter duration
- A credit for an upcoming charter of the same value
- Complimentary additional benefits or enhancements
Issues Relating to Guests
Should the charter conclude ahead of time resulting from guest behavior or breach of safety regulations:
- No reimbursement for the remainder of the charter period
- Outstanding charter payments are to be fully covered
- Supplementary expenses may be charged
Resolution of Disputes
To challenge a refund determination, you may:
- Ask for an assessment by our administrative body
- Submit further proofs or clarifications
- Seek assistance from consumer rights groups
- Engage in legal proceedings in line with prevailing legislation

Critical Information
- All claims for refunds should be formalized in writing
- Refunds will be handled in € despite the currency of initial payment
- We strongly advise purchasing travel insurance
- These guidelines may be modified given a 30-day notice
- Reimbursements are subject to the relevant taxes and statutory provisions
